About Membership

What is BNI?

BNI stands for Business Network Int’l. The purpose of BNI is to increase your business through a structured system of giving referrals. BNI is based on the philosophy of “Givers Gain” — those who give the most referrals typically receive the most referrals.

Can anyone join?

We only take one person from each profession. So, for example, if you are a residential real estate professional and we already have one, we can refer you to another BNI chapter.

How is a BNI meeting structured?

The sole purpose of BNI is to increase your business through a structured system of giving referrals. One person per profession can be a member of a chapter. Breakfast meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. at a restaurant. A leadership team is in place to keep the meeting on-track and on-time. An education topic is covered each week. Members give a 45-second commercial each week and two members are featured speakers each week. Members actively pass referrals or give testimonials.

Can I be a guest before I join?

We invite you to attend a Pacific Beach BNI meeting. Meetings are every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 a.m. Meeting cost is the same as what we charge for members.

How do I become a member of Pacific Beach BNI?

After completing an application and submitting the required fees, we carefully check references so that we can be confident referring our members to family, friends, peers, clients and associates.

Where does the chapter meet?

Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 a.m. Detailed directions are here.
